Memo 001: Microphone Check
CLEARED FOR HOWLINGThe lectern has one microphone for questions and a second, reinforced microphone for answers. Both are tested. Only one survives rehearsal.
Every memo here was written for Chair Howl's press office and for no one else. Dates, institutions and market figures are left out on purpose: the room runs on its own calendar, and the only clock that matters is the moon.
Memo 002: Tie Protocol
VISUAL SIGNALThe red tie remains centered until the prepared remarks end. One adjustment means the room should lower its pencils. Two adjustments mean the moon has entered the forecast.
Memo 003: Transcript Standard
FORMAT APPROVEDConsonants are transcribed normally. A sustained vowel receives a timestamp, a weather symbol, and a footnote reading tone maintained.
Memo 004: Unscheduled Question
RESPONSE REDACTEDAsked whether there is a preset path, the Chair consulted the ceiling and replied: AWOOOO. Staff classified the answer as data dependent.
